New York: Check
Well, I just completed a 3 hour walk around New York City. I left Penn Station and walked over to Park Ave, which I followed to Grand Central Terminal. After poking around there a bit I gave Ben a call to find out where the �ber Apple Store was. I made it up to the Apple Store at 5th Ave. and 59th Street, which was totally underwhelming, then headed over to Broadway, which I followed south through Times Square, eventually making it back to 34th and over to Penn Station. It was a lovely walk, although I think my shoulders are about to fall off from hauling my big backpack around. Read More...

New Camera, New Projects, New Schedule
Well, I’ve heard through the grapevine that I’m getting a Canon Digital Rebel XT and Canon 28-200 mm lens for Christmas/Birthday/Graduation. Thanks Mom and Dad! I can’t wait to get my hands on it… now I have to decide if I want to hold onto my old F707 as a backup, or sell it to get some accessories for the new camera. Read More...

No School Tomorrow
The OU campus will be shut down tomorrow, on account of the scary rain drops that keep falling from the sky. I just spent a couple of hours driving around watching trains with Andrew and there was nary a slippery spot, and we covered a quite large area… there were some tree branches down, and the occasional flash from a power station (there was lightning too, but, we actually saw the sub stations flashing), but otherwise it just seemed cold and wet.
